If you don’t know Steve “SK” Kennedy then you should get to know him. He is the most legendary human being on the face of the earth. Especially in our hometown of San Clemente where he reigns close to supreme.
SK had a Wipeout from Tanner Gudauskas on Vimeo.
An iconic individual known for his greaser sense of style and tack sharp video footage SK runs deep! After a crowded day at our local surf spot in town, we were left frustrated and confused. Did we really just see SK get burned by a little grom?! Whoa. Things had to change. So we did what every frustrated groupie surfer would do.
we started a band. Blue Gene to be correct. We completed a hit, and we sold out. Simply put, we hope to change the world. If thats not attainable then we just hope to change the lineups of our local spots. Put SK back on top! So here is to you SK, its a rock song for you from the New school band Blue Gene!

I think it is more that I want to know either way how this is going to work out. I am 16th place on the bubble which gives me the opportunity to jump into a qualifying position if I can put together a result at sunset. I am super stoked on the opportunity to give it hell. To qualify there would be the ultimate dream story. One that was taken from my brother last year. I have his words of wisdom this year and hopefully that will help to fuel the fire that already burns deep. I can’t tell whether it is the massive swell pounding at my doorsteps or the aniticipation of the sunset event but I have been sleeping lightly at night! Wish us luck out on the massive lineup at sunset in the upcoming days. We have been surfing there every day as much as possible to get comfortable. Either way its been fun to get on the big boards and get down to the pocket gouges!!!! stay tuned! much aloha from the islands. Enjoy these photos.

So the surf was less than great for the beginning of the Haleiwa event. But still it was fun. The wind was good for the super glue effect with airs. I just wanted to try and do and air in my heat. That was pretty much the only thing I was thinking. I rode a board that was shaped for my brother and I to try out. Its 5 7 and a super rocket. Epoxy to boot! Here is a little highlight reel that I found with some waves on the board. check it out! Click

It’s only been 23 years of living, 10 years of foodstore shopping, and over a decade in hawaii for us to figure out where they are practically giving away food. We’ve heard of redcross, we’ve heard of welfare, but none of them are feeding the masses as efficiently or tastefully as this place they call cost co! for a small 50 dollar donation, you can practically go hog wild in the south shore of Oahu… To boot, they are giving out food every five feet you step in the place… it’s outrageous. We showed up on an empty stomach, and left with a poi poo round belly kine courtesy of the CO. Here, we let dog run wild with the rampid proportions and all time low prices. Sounds like foodland has got some competition after all…
