Armed with only a pair of trunks, a t shirt and a pair of Astrodeck sweatpants, I joined the VANS team of Joel tudor, tony trujillo, johnny Layton and Shea Lopez for a little promo at Coastal Edge surfshop. The turnout was big. People screamed and screamed and sweat and screamed and fainted for free shwag. the temp was 105 unofficially. Imagine the heat inside my sweatpants, maybe that’s way I didn’t find love in Virginia Beach. –DANE
